Marriage Alliance Counseling

Marriage Alliance Counseling is based on the belief that one's marriage is a pattern of enduring practices that either strengthen or diminish the marriage alliance. Creating and sustaining a couples vision is essential for achieving a positive set of enduring practices that nourish the marriage. Developing, promoting and supporting individual personal visions is a critical pursuit for both personal well being and a healthy marriage. The counseling mission is to help you create a "mindful" marriage by advancing the application of communication skills, values clarification and increased awareness of interpersonal and intrapersonal dynamics. I will assist in helping you remove obstacles to meeting both your marriage and individual goals. Bound-up energy can then be redirected for both personal and couple benefit (e.g. increasing intimacy, achieving personal goals,etc..) A still higher marital goal is to realize and permit positive self-sacrifice for sealing the marriage alliance.
